• Copyright: You automatically own the copyright to all original code, UI designs, text, and other content you create. Registration is optional and only required if you need to sue for statutory damages.
• Trademark: You can use the ™ symbol immediately to claim your brand name and logo as a trademark. Federal registration (®) is an optional, stronger form of protection.
